Low prices, fast delivery, and high quality are all claims that the printing industry rests upon. The Print Company came to us with this same offering, and a loyal client following that returned to them time and time again for their no-frills, quick turnaround, high quality service. But after workshopping with the team at TPC, we quickly realised they had something very different; the attitude 
to back their guarantees.

Building this into the strategy, we established that The Print Company could stand out with their attitude and appeal, making the generic print industry promises a lot more believable against a sea of sameness.

Enter the word ‘faff’: a colloquial English term meaning “unnecessary fuss, inefficiency, or pointless tasks”. It is everything The Print Company refuses to be. In fact, they’re prepared to rise against it.

The Print Company is on a mission to remove the faff from printing. They’ve declared war on faff. Born out of this strategy, was a no-frills, retail-centric brand, dedicated to customer satisfaction of the highest level, and unapologetically, ‘anti-faff’.

With this new tone of voice and positioning, we refreshed the visual identity to match; a look with attitude and without the frills. Drawing inspiration from the functional, literal qualities of print, we created a sticker-style logo system, graphics that echo ink fresh off the press, and bold, to-the-point typography. It’s an aesthetic that allows The Print Company to show up exactly as they are, and be proud of it.

The result is a visual identity that communicates the value of simplicity. A straight up, no-nonsense brand, which speaks to the ease and straight-forwardness of TPC’s service and promise. It’s authentic, it’s brave, and it really doesn’t 
give a faff.
